Pros

I saw Drew Carry at the cafe up the street once. That was neat. There are still a few cool people left working here (the rest were scapegoated and fired or layed off).

Cons

- No organization. Nothing is documented, nothing is planned, it's a 24/7 madhouse. - No accountability for middle management. Every mistake that happens is ALWAYS somebody else's fault. Fingers point everywhere all the time. - You will be expected to work 60+ hour weeks, including weekends and holidays on the regular. - Want to leave an hour early for a dentist appointment? That's coming out of your measly 10 days of PTO per year. - Be prepared to have your emails, phone calls, and text messages ignored for weeks or months. - You're an expert in your field with 10+ years experience? Good luck getting your opinion to count for anything. - You're an ambitious self-starter and go getter? Enjoy as all of your suggestions and projects get derailed or deprioritized. - Something is happening that's important to your department and workflow? I'm sure you'll hear about it a month later from somebody in an unrelated department. - No drinks or snacks at the office (unless you want expired product or water) - Office location frequently attracts vandalism and miscreants. - The CEO said "if you want to get paid more, get a different job" at a Town Hall meeting. - Leadership is willing to drag the brand through the dirt for an extra buck. - No holiday bonus last year. - Company retreat was temporarily postponed (last year) and hasn't been mentioned since. - Covid19 meant layoffs and paycuts all around. Somehow managed to afford 3 new executives during the "hiring freeze". - Some members of the executive team are known for aggressive and toxic communication. - Every corner is cut, every employee is treated like an infinite resource.

Pros

Not a single pro to list. I believe this place has actually made me mentally ill and that I am currently suffering from clinical depression. I'd see someone to feel better. However, I am broke and have no time to see anyone due to how much I'm forced to work.

Cons

- Thankless. - China has better labor practices than the ones employed at this place. - Everyone hates everyone. Your boss hates you more. The CEO hates you most. - Spend every minute of your life being terrorized by colleagues, supervisors, and CEO. All you get is a lousy salary to show for it. They also have lousy teeshirts if you are interested in wearing embarrassing slogans on your chest. - Nobody cares about longevity. They only care about making their careers look good. CEO encourages a culture of backstabbing that has trickled down to us plebs at the bottom even... so it is unnaturally hostile here. - Not sure why people are excited about the health benes here. Unless you're older or have a pre-existing condition it's awful. - I've had a lot of jobs. This is the worst one. - Half the people here have titles that make little sense compared to what they actually do. Especially the CEO who spends more time proclaiming his title and power than actually leading anyone or anything.

Pros

Good starting salary, good office environment, nice product but hard to sell since not everyone believes in it yet, product research in USC

Cons

Poor management, decisions and goals change everyday, no targets, you find your own, they cancelled my role after 1 month of being hired, which made me jobless because I quit my previous job.
