Pros

Very few pros other than you don’t really have a boss breathing down your neck ever.

Cons

Low pay- only guaranteed $300 a week unless you can get a random person in Best Buy to sign up for TV services on spot. Long hours. Likely to work 8 AM-7PM five days a week, and yet it is still possible to only bring home that $300 a week.

Hey Reviewer, Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to give us a review. There are a few things that I would like to clear up on here for any potential applicants who may be doing their research on our company. First, our pay is very competitive with similar businesses in the Lexington area in regards to face-to-face sales. Not only do we offer a weekly base guarantee (most outsourced sales companies do not), but, we have no cap or limit to how much some one can earn throughout the course of a week given that they perform highly with the sales. This is something that we are very clear about from the first steps in our interview process and if this is something that you didn't feel would be good fit for you then I'm confused as to why you worked with us. Second, no one in this company works those listed hours other than myself. I am the owner of the company and understand that running a small business requires long hours but I would not ask any of my employees to work those hours. Our representatives arrive at our office each morning at 9:30am and are here until 11am for meetings and training sessions, which totals up to 1.5 hours. They then transition out to the retail store locations where they are assigned for the remaining 6.5 hours of their work day. In total that is an 8 hour day. Finally, I don't believe that you know how I am doing financially given that you are not my accountant and have never processed payroll for my business. I am sorry that you had a bad experience with us but as we say from the very beginning of our recruitment, we are a merit based company and individuals here will progress/grow and earn pay based on their own performance. Our team is a very tight knit crew and the lasting relationships we build here are why we don't have to worry about the "wonders" of employee retention as you mentioned. If there was anything I missed or if you would like to discuss your experience here with us in more detail then I am only an email or phone call away. I would very much welcome the opportunity to speak with you if there is something you feel could have been handled differently during your time with us. I wish you the best of luck in your future career search! Sincerely, Rick Goughneour, President/Owner

Pros

This is one of the few companies I have found that really pushed me to become part of management and make decisions together. The competitive culture to do well and help other members of the team improve is what i enjoyed most. It helped me gain the experience i was looking for to move on to my long term goals.

Cons

The one thing Id want to mention is be ready for somewhere that when something is decided on its an all in type of place. The old saying work hard, play hard is definitely something I could tell they truly believe in.
