      Good company but could be better

      Pros

      Reception, support staff, IT staff all lovely and helpful. Good salary, good bonus scheme, good social activities

      Cons

      Too much importance put on making money and not enough importance on respect for all staff, expected to work long hours without thanks, bullying culture exists with some senior partners and support staff and is not dealt with, hence a massive exodus of staff in 2017 and also already in 2018.

      I am deeply sorry that anyone has to endure bad behaviour let alone bullying. Once we are notified of any such behaviour we do tackle it; we do listen and we do act. Our Managing Partner wants everyone who works at the firm to enjoy coming to work. The majority experience this, but those who have any experience less than this should demand better. We will respond appropriately. Thanks for sharing your views.

      Awful. Don’t Go There

      Struggling...location, I suppose. Reception staff, librarian are excellent.

      Cons

      Ineffective/ no management. Translate that as they just don’t care. No care/ no communication, no facilities for staff. Presenteeism rules. Utterly misogynist. Arrogant egomaniacs. Oppressive atmosphere. Any criticism - even if intended to be constructive is dismissed, not listened to. Dinosaurs. Fees are the absolute priority. Previous reviews refer to bullying, don’t ignore this - it does exist and is not dealt with, resulting in it becoming the norm which must be a contributing factor in the culture overall. Anyway people who’ve trained there think it’s normal - it’s so not.
