A Very Hostile Work Environment

None that I observed while I worked there.

Cons

Lamont is a very hostile work environment. Management does not know how to treat their employees and HR is not at all helpful since grant money that managers bring in pay for some of the HR salaries so their is a conflict of interest.

ZERO FLEXIBILITY and sad setting for central administration positions. Be prepared to be undervalued. Serious control issues from managers. I am not sure any part of upper management knows how terrible they are running their employees, or perhaps management does not care.

I've been working here for 4 months and I am currently planning my exit. The leadership in the administration is ineffective. The administration is rude and they do not properly train new employees despite saying they will do so in their job ad. The administration wants someone who is more experienced but does not advertise as such. The pay is subpar, but hard to live on especially with student loans, car payments/insurance, rent, and other bills.
