    Pros

    Overpay and good benefits/Health Insurance.

    Cons

    1. Outsourced
    2. They will pay specific folks very high to maintain diversity. Even thou team does the same work.
    3. No growth: After staying several years the career path is stagnant unless you impress your manager with happy hour. In the name of growth they will assign you work of retired employees and blame you end of the year for not picking up new initiatives..
    4. Under performing : Some upper level folks are under performer and whole job is to keep an eye on employee hours and approve time sheets.
    5. Several re orgs in past 5 years, so no clear vision.
    6. Employees are billed hours and treated like contractors.
    7. You may end up working weekend hours so no work life balance.
    8. Unethical Environment: You will often hear from your boss that since you don't have kids so you are not supposed to have a break or spend time on weekends in Middleware and devops.
    9. Too many lies: in one instance they said no layoff and there was layoff the following month.

    Advice to Management

    Start respecting experienced employees or the day will come when people will think twice before joining land o lakes.
    Start evaluating mid level managers and directors who play politics and undermine the team specially in IT Infra.

    Good benefits and PTO after a few years.

    Cons

    It depends on what area you work in. There is good work/life balance if your division has good management but inconsistencies in this over the company.

    Advice to Management

    Stop treating hard workers like they are easily replaceable or you will not retain talent and will be constantly re-hiring and re-training.

    good benefits but they treat you like crap you have no life cant count on days off
    they will fire you for little or no reason money is good

    The uncertainty for overtime! You get forced for overtime regardless of your personal life.

    I have been working at Land O'Lakes (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Made great connections with upper management, Great mentorship programs, Lots of volunteering work, and also I had a challenging project instead of busy work.

    Cons

    My manager quit halfway thru my internship and I didn't have a manager for the rest of my internship.

    Advice to Management

    When a manager leaves try and fill in a new temporary manager.
