Pros
It's like working for the Greek public sector. You go whenever you want, leave whenever you want. Management and HR don't pay any attention to you. You're not monitored by anyone. You work for the public sector and get paid a salary like that of a shipping company. In case you have any connection with the Greek Hellenic Navy you will have a great time.
Cons
Top management places retired Hellenic Navy personnel in important positions, such as COO and department managers. These individuals do not understand the company’s, department’s and personnel needs. They are only interested in making more money. They talk about a family-like atmosphere, but all you encounter are people who are unfamiliar with their roles and simply tell you to handle things yourself. It’s a very toxic and completely unproductive environment.
