Pros
Salary is on par with the market rate, benefits are abundant e.g. 25 days of annual leave, good insurance coverage, allowances. But what good is 25 days of annual leave if by the end of the year your leave balance is 20 days because you're so swamped with work that you can't afford to be away from your job?
Cons
Too many to list:- 1) very toxic work environment 2) zero respect for employees, e.g. calls/messages/emails at nights/during the weekends/public holidays/when employees are on leave 3) little to no support from your superiors unless you're one of their favourites 4) people who are incompetent keep being promoted over people who can actually do the job because they're not the favourites 5) middle and top management don't inspire confidence and loyalty 6) unrealistic expectations are being set 7) there is a "management vs you" practice that widens the gap between the management and the employees 8) there are chances that you will be guilted and humiliated if you don't follow their way, no matter how wrong they are because they don't like to admit that they're h employees Besides that, the people at the top only listen to selected few, which makes it harder to maintain some kind of professionalism at work because they have these preconceived notions about you. And they like to tout about integrity and transparency when none are visible in their actions. Their arrogance knows no bounds.
