Leadership is awful. The CEO is a control freak who always has to be right. The CEO always thinks he has to fix any problem that comes up and butts in, doesn't see things through, and makes things worse. There is no documented policies or employee handbook, so whatever the CEO says is what goes, since there is nothing documented to the contrary and no one to challenge what the CEO says. The time off policy is not great. You get the same amount of paid time off (and benefits) on day 30 as you do after 8 years. There is no incentive to stick around.

This company, as a software company, is missing the point of the software life cycle. They rapidly prototype everything and release it; even when it is not fully vetted. This looks bad on the company and causes more problems down the road through poor design decisions. The CEO has a real personality - at times he will throw a tantrum and take it out on his employees. He tries to act like a developer, businessman and any other job title you can think of. Since he is pulled in so many directions and tries to code still, the developer that takes his halfway written code suffers by having to work with him; when they are able to. No requirements exist, very little code documentation and lack of correspondence with the CEO make it impossible to perform your job.
