The light portfolio load and the focus on continued education.

Cons

The companies environment was very toxic and judgmental. The company is full of veteran employees and upper management that are not friendly to new hires joining the team. Constant gossip and lack of trust in ownership, including racial tensions that were never addressed, some of which lead to wrongful terminations. Constant miscommunication and lack thereof clear processes to allow all teammates to perform their jobs correctly and affectively. In the end I watched a lot of good hardworking people resign from this company due to the gossip and poor treatment of veteran employees and ownership.

You received your pay check on time.

Cons

If you work at the Detroit locations they are all unsafe and most are unsanitary. They are in violent neighborhoods and management does not care about your safety. 50% of the Detroit locations are unsanitary and do not clean because they can not keep cleaning staff due to the violence. The security that they do have can not prevent the violent crimes that enter their doors. There is also a bias with the Detroit locations vs. the others.

Legacy prides ourself on transparency during the interview process and with feedback from our leaders so the property type and challenges were discussed during the interview process. We also encourage applying for other open positions within our communities. While we are doing our best to hire qualified individuals and security we are unable to control some of the issues that you speak about. We are more than willing to sit down with you and listen to any recommendations you may have to curb violence at these communities besides what we have currently been doing which is green light programs, establishing community presence from our local area police departments and community meetings along with stricter security for entrance into our communities.
