      Pros

      Getting out of the corporate office and getting to say hello to patients and residents in passing. The facility and property and healthcare staff.

      Cons

      The position held experienced high turnover with good reason. Expectations were unrealistic, focus was in wrong area and management seemed approachable but was not. The screening process was quite intense and although I went in with a positive attitude, it felt my destiny had already been determined.

      Pros

      Resident relationships are easily formed here, other staff is friendly, supportive and helpful. Management is friendly and easy to talk to and they can always accommodate any schedule you are trying to have.

      Cons

      Normal nursing home cons. Family expects a lot of you, residents can be cranky at times if things don't go their way. Some staff can be distant and not want to help you.
