Pros

It's kept fairly clean by employees. Competitive wages for the type of work and area. The job is not hard if you are able to lift and stand all day and drive forklifts. If you know you are going to be out for an appt, they let you switch hours so you don't get a point.

Cons

There are team leads and supervisors who flirt with and go out with girls in the building. That wouldn't be anybody's business, except they show them favoritism. They give them easier jobs to do, let them eat on the floor, talk on their phone, and go in and out of the break room. They purposely give them jobs so their gap time won't be looked at, say things to them in front of other employees they shouldn't, and follow them around talking during the day. Certain employees befriend leads and supervisors and go out with them outside of work. The employees do this to talk to the lead or supervisor about other employees they don't like and find out information, which they do... Management is friends with certain employees and shows them favoritism. They have been told that certain employees go out at lunch and smoke weed. They have been told that one of their friends in particular smokes weed at lunch and acts and smells like it, but they don't do anything. In my opinion, that's the same if I went to lunch and bought me a six pack and came back to work lit... IT'S THE SAME THING. IT'S CALLED BEING IMPAIRED. But, they favor this person or he knows something on them because they do not try to do anything about it. YET, they want to get mad if one of us gets hurt on the job. That's our fault. If I fall down it's my fault. If I hurt my back lifting wrong, it's my fault. But, if he hits me with a forklift because he's high, THAT'S MANAGEMENT'S FAULT. They know he gets high and drives equipment, yet they want to get mad at everybody else for stepping on a pallet to reach something... Nope. If he hits me one day, and they knew the whole time he gets high at lunch, because I know for a fact they have been told, I'm not going to be nice about it, and I know other people who are not going to be nice about it either.. I know for a fact people have told his supervisor he is high, he smells like weed... but, NOBODY CARES. They want to tell us to be safe, but they don't really care about us. They've had every opportunity to get this man tested. They've had every opportunity to get rid of him for various other things, but they don't. He gets by with more than anybody else ever has. Favoritism is a big issue in this building. And, they favor the worst employees... the gossip mongers, the liars, the troublemakers. Management tells you to go to them if you have problems and not talk to everybody else about it, but when you do, most of the time, they look at you like you are the bad one for telling. So, I stopped telling. I thought if I told them, it would help them see things and they could do something to change it, but I realized, they don't really care, and they look at me like I shouldn't have said anything.. I remember one girl who tried to tell a member of management that one of the leads was showing a girl favoritism in various way... The manager got mad at the girl for telling him. He branded her a troublemaker and made a speech in the morning meeting about coming to him if you have a problem because he was mad at her for telling. But, come to find out... later on down the line, they had to have a talk with that same lead about two other girls because more people complained. So he branded her a troublemaker based on what? His own personal opinion because he liked his male lead? He didn't stand back and watch. He didn't find out for himself. He jumped to conclusions and automatically thought the girl was lying, she must be jealous or something. As a management team you cannot walk through the building for a few minutes periodically throughout the day and make assumptions, nor can you listen to your buddies about other people because your buddies are liars and they lead you around like you have a ring in your nose.

Pros

Not a lot of overtime. Other than that, it's just a paycheck, and not a good one. I'm never getting 40 hours, but I have to be there at a moments notice when they need it.

Cons

Management is a revolving door. They claim to have a culture that makes it an awesome place to work, but it is definitely lip service. The newest manager has no idea what is going on and doesn't even understand distribution. The employees know he's a joke and take advantage of him because he needs them. He sits in his office all day and watches everyone on a bunch of cameras that are all over the warehouse.

Pros

The type of work, it's not a complicated difficult job at all.

Cons

Management. HR. If you can just do not apply here, they use the "point system" meaning if your kid is sick and it's really an emergency you can't go you need to stay unless you want to take 1 point for the day. Sick day? Oh yes you do get them but you will also get pointed for calling in sick which makes no sense because the company provides you with 2 sick days but they do not tell you that you will be penalized for it. You might think it's not a lot, but when you reach 8 points by coming in 1 second late, there's no one who can help your case, they will work your butt and at the end of the day literally of the day you will get fired. You can be the best employee that they have in comparison with the other 10+ lazy employees that do nothing but spend their time in the washroom and getting free money, they will choose them over you. They tell you at the beginning that if you ever reach 8 points they will review your case and take some points off for making sense situations like weather related which were probably half my points for but at the end they do not value you as a worker and btw management? Yeah once your working in this place you will see all the racism and it's ironic because of the ethnicity that management is.
