Toxic environment with a micromanaging CEO
Pros
- If you are VA, you are happy to have a remote job working for a US based company. - If you are local LA based employee - most of the people who work for the company are nice. - Unfortunately, everyone at every level is micromanaged on how to do their job by a CEO who is out of touch.
Cons
- STAY AWAY!!! - By far, the absolute worse company I have ever been a part of. - An out-of-touch CEO who micromanages every employee at every level and instructs them how to do their job. Unfortunately, he has no clue how to do their job, but wants to push everyone's buttons and threatens to fire everyone all the time. - No forward planning - everything is done on a whim. No decision is made with any actual insight, just what the CEO feels at that moment. - Highest turnover rate of any company you will ever find. With less than 25 employees, CEO determines to randomly let go an average of 1-2 people per week. - Weekly, the CEO routinely changes company direction, processes, and pricing for clients. - Cameras are placed throughout the building, everyone clocks in and out, and the CEO routinely walks throughout the office and watches over people's backs to see what they're doing. - Absolutely STAY AWAY. Company hires people every other week for a variety of positions, but only for the CEO to decide he doesn't need someone he hired a month ago. - With the exception of a few people, no one lasts more than 1 year.
