You get to be part of something cool and meaningful. Generally people are nice and easy to work with.
Cons
Zero transparency so staff have no idea what management's doing or where the company's heading to, which is downhill. The change in management saw old white males controlling the company and they have no clue what they are doing. CEO is nowhere to be found. CFO is running the show, sadly he doesn't even know how to use a smartphone. COO is a racist who only thinks highly of himself and calls clients by names I can't repeat here. The company's been in financial problems even before the pandemic. Staff haven't been paid for months. Suppliers/vendors have stopped services due to unpaid bills. Yet management rented a new office in singapore just because CFO doesn't like coworking space and went on hiring spree to hire new people to support himself. In the time of crisis, CEO is missing and there's been zero comms from him.
