Pros

Good software for managing applications. Other than that nothing else

Cons

Horrible pay. Can you imagine prospecting for and writing mortgage loans for less than $45k a year. The COO has his head stuck up his rear. Horrible management skills. most employees last maybe 6 months

Toxic Culture

Pros

There are some great people that work there.

Cons

Dysfunctional, toxic culture. The leadership does not care about its people. The CEO flies in once per month on his jet and shakes everything up, belittling people then leaves. The COO has no authority. None of the people are happy, it’s hardcore sales-driven environment. They also have little care for the customer, they are only seen as a profit center. There is no work/life balance or appreciation for those that put in the time. I was spoken down to and embarrassed in front of people numerous times and so were many of the leaders. It was very uncomfortable. I was let go without cause. I was told I did a great job the week before then called at home on a Sunday and told not to come in again. I was told by COO that he “couldn’t say anymore.” It was unprofessional and unwarranted.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate the time you took to share your experience. LendingOne has grown and matured substantially since October of 2017. There is no doubt that much like many other startup companies we encountered challenges that were often not easily overcome. Part of those struggles were in assembling the best team for the objectives at hand. We’re sorry you felt mistreated, that was certainly never the outcome we desired. To address your comments regarding the existence of a “hardcore sales environment” – we do pride ourselves on the continuous focus on efficiency and execution. Our business and our team’s direct success is measured by being able to act quickly in a very robust market and industry. All of this said, one fact remains: our people have been, are, and continue to be priority and our clients are valued and respected. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

Pros

Great technology to work on.

Cons

Favoritism runs rampant in the operations team. The manager does not provide assistance just criticism. There is no formal training or room for growth. HR is friends with management so your conversations are not confidential.
