Direction from management is unclear

Don't have any working experience for mentioning cons about the working culture but I do have some. Offered me a job (for which I had to reject another company who offered me a job), processed the Employment pass (which is approved) and just before joining, BOOOM!!!! "We're sorry . We not able to go further with you and cancelling your job offer due to some internal issues which can't be shared with you." Shocker of my life. My first job experience in Singapore. The job offer was gone. Other company offers gone and stay in Singapore became a big issue as I don't have a proper visa. A positive thing in this bad experience too, HR people at least helped me by referring me to few of their tie-up consultants to help me find a job(which ain't fruitful) and also announced a compensation (fair enough).
