Pros

At Life Connections you are able to help individual and families reach their goals through the services you deliver. You get to make your own schedule, as it is per clients you have. Some of the workers in which I have worked with are quality people that make ethical and sound judgments, based on clinical need and to improve the quality of work for others.

Cons

This company has incredibly poor CEO and upper management running the company. The CEO and other owners are not upheld to any board and make decisions in which bully their staff and do not follow any ethical standards. No one at this company is here for the long haul, due to the inconsistency of staff, policy changes and unethical work asked to be done. This company willingly chooses to allow great employees to be bullied and treated unfairly. There is no support system from upper management and I would not recommend starting a career here, unless you care to find another job in a few months. No amount of money can allow you to stay to be treated so poorly. Any of the positive comments on this are on behalf of, or with the immediate advisement of the CEO to make this company look better. This is not the reflection of anyone working for Life Connections.

Hi there. Our management team would like to provide some insight into our company as of 2021. Two of our exceptional providers, Melissa Paulsen and Alyssa Hennings have rose to the CEO level and are making tremendous, steady, strides to our company culture and overall work-life/company success. Life Connections is continuously working to become better than we were the day before, and are delighted in the improvements we have made over the last 7+ years. Please reach out to our management team if you would like to learn more about our 2021 company culture and improvements. Thanks!

Pros

The only reason to work for this company is if there are no other options for employment. There are a few good providers in this company that work to make a difference in their client's lives.

Cons

The upper management specifically use the company as a cult of personality and have little to no skill or knowledge of their field of practice. The management is anything but supportive and use bullying tactics, fear, and instability to maintain control. They are unethical and unprofessional in their management and frequently ignore the policies they implement. There is more focus on attempting to make the CEO appear successful and assuaging her massive ego rather than concern for the client. Turnover for staff is high and management appears to be oppressive in their tactics toward them.

Hello. We are so sorry to hear you experience at Life Connections in 2014 was less than adequate. In the last 8+ years, our organization has improved dramatically through the guidelines of our new co-CEO's: Melissa and Alyssa. As previous providers at Life Connections, they have grown with this organization and understand the steps that need to be taken to achieve success. We are incredibly proud of the strides of success we have accomplished as of 2021 and would be interested in discussing this more with you if interested. Thanks!

Pros

None. Other than you do make your own schedule but its for the most part all evening/weekend hours.

Cons

Horrible training, basically figure it out yourself unless you have BHIS experience. Unrealistic expectations for, and unpaid, to perform marketing (find clients). Unless you bring your own book of BHIS clients.....forget-about-it....you are screwed - they will not get clients for you. You build your own business. Management, CEO, Supervisors....like previous reviews....they are drinking the CEO cool-aid. Two-faced, manipulative, inconsistent, unethical. Its a churn-n-burn climate. Produce or get written up (again, bring your BHIS clients with you or you will fail). At our office we were mandated to clean the office, and answer the phones 3 hours per week (no office staff) - WITHOUT pay. Which is illegal....to be mandated to work unpaid. But if we complained....you end up on the Brown List and are black-balled. Havin fun yet?? The CEO is a joke....what can I say. Unprofessional, party-girl. Charismatic yes......but not a CEO, far from it.
