      Pros

      I have been with Life Scan for many years and love my job and the company. When I was with the hospital system I had to be on call and work weekends and every holiday,. With Life Scan I have a normal schedule and they give every employee two weeks off at Christmas and one week off for the week of July 4th! And the pay is fantastic and the my coworkers are wonderful. Not to mention how our patients are firefighters and they are the best. It is Hands down my dream job

      Pros

      Testing the firefighters was really fun and I enjoyed working with the patients and the team. Traveling to different places was fun as well.

      Cons

      Answering phones and doing administrative work when not shown how to do it was definitely a negative. The management was poor and I felt that people were afraid of management. It wouldn't hurt if they learned some "people skills." with employees and their accounts. Unethical in some instances in terms of testing.

      Pros

      Great company and values. “Hands down awesome” Incredible culture - people work really hard, but they enjoy doing it; always a professional environment. Moderate amount of travel but always enjoyed being with my team and the patients. Only left due to starting a family.

      Cons

      No negatives. Not a good fit for someone with young kids.
