Pros

I have very few. My team in Med Services was a dream team, which has since been imploded due to poor direction, HR bias, and terrible executive leadership.

Cons

LifeWays promotes a culture of fear. HR makes it very known that they are not there for the employees or the consumers, but simply for their own personal gain. They don’t support clinical opinions and they investigate “departments” without interviewing everyone involved, then if they don’t like you they fire you or put you on a final notice (or a “last chance” as they like to call it) without your input, and without any sort of concrete evidence. The employees that actually work and make a difference get punished while the others get promoted into unnecessary leadership roles. When you start they will try to pay you WAY less than you’re worth.

Pros

Helping the consumers and families that really need and appreciate the assistance

Cons

Incompetent case management supervisors and department supervisor. . Completely overworked. EVERYTHING I’m the company is placed on the responsibility of the case manager. Poor and grossly inadequate training. Higher ups claim they care about case managers but the truth speaks for itself. EXTREMELY high turn over rate, constant chaos and confusion. Very poor position to work in. Case managers are treated horribly at this company.
