Awful Treatment of Staff / Micromanagement / Call Centre Environment

Pros

Reasonable Salary. Work from home during Covid.

Cons

I would not recommend working for Lifetime Legal. I’ve never experienced such a high degree of micromanagement and lack of trust in staff. Everything you do is monitored and dictated by the team leaders, and you are made to account for every minute of the day. There is never any praise or gratitude for hard work, and it seems no matter what you do it is never good enough. Lifetime Legal has a Hire & Fire environment. One minute your colleagues are there, the next minute they are not. If you look on Indeed you will constantly see new advertisements for the same jobs. They will tell you this is because they are expanding, but in reality it is because they have fired their hard-working team members for not meeting their unrealistic expectations, or their team members have simply realised their worth and left.

Hi Anonymous Really disappointed to read the fact you felt micromanaged. I understand your comments and obviously, the role was not for you. I would dispute your comments regards staff turn over having worked here for over 10 years I feel turnover is well below average. That said we are always looking for ways to deliver more for our people.

If you want to be treated like a piece of meat

Pros

Good group of people, usually bought together by a mutual disappointment of management and owner

Cons

CEO regularly changes commission structures when he thinks he is paying out to much money. He has even asked for money back that he had paid out to Staff. Outrageous - tried on multiple occasions to emotionally blackmail staff into doing this. Also at one point tried to get the whole company to sacrifice salary in place of shares and did this by implying one day the company would be worth 10 million plus and return on investment would be huge. Ironic as since I've been here the company has not once made a profit.
