Don't Walk, RUN! from these Sociopaths

Pros

The label puts out interesting enough content, and you'll get the street cred of working for a seemingly virtuous, “cool” company.

Cons

This business is actively being run into the ground thanks to rampantly abusive mismanagement. When you first start working here, you might be woo'd by free promos and plenty of virtue signaling about how great it is to work here! For a finite window, you'll get some nice perks... until they work you to your breaking point, piling on more and more; then, out of the blue, they'll strip you of your hours and benefits, demote you, or fire you. Management cleans house regularly, laying off old timers to make room for younger, cheaper, more naive and manipulatable staff. In the end, no one is safe. Anyone who has worked here in the last decade can confirm. There is no HR in place, so you're really backed into a corner if you have any concerns. If you speak up about anything, ask for support, or question management, you'll be fired. Be prepared for gaslighting and covert (or not so covert) verbal abuse, especially if you're a woman. In the last year alone, they've burned through six female employees and counting. There is no diversity. There is no inclusion. This is white privilege and toxic masculinity at its finest. Be warned: you will be burned by this company. Working here is a total three-ring circus orchestrated by a real Svengali. He’s even got the owners so busy spinning plates they can’t see through the smoke and mirrors.

Vinyl nightmare

Pros

You get some free records, I guess?

Cons

Watching management continually treat your experienced coworkers with disrespect even when they don’t know what they’re talking about, rampant misogyny, zero company culture, unreasonable expectations for below average pay, if people quit (which they will) you’ll likely take over a whole bunch of their tasks and not be compensated, absolutely terrible leadership from their GM
