      Horrible place to work!

      Pros

      The only good thing about working at Lighthouse was being able to help people and make a difference.

      Cons

      Always short staffed, always harassed on your off days to come in to work, mandatory 16 hour shifts at times, management uncaring about patients and staff, high risk of getting injured by psychotic patients due to short staff, very high nurse to patient ratio, building old, filthy and moldy.

      Pros

      Work with Children/Adolescents/Adults, Can be flexible with hours, Staff support. Most often admin support. Busy and always could use more help. If you like overtime, this is the job for you.

      Cons

      Some children under care of DFCS and just require more support. Some parents not as responsive with children under their guardianship. If you do not want overtime, Can be challenging when the census is high
