      Great co-workers, Collaborative work environment, Strong sense of mission to educate students of East Oakland, Committed to team decision making

      Cons

      Confusing and inconsistent discipline policy for students, Not a lot of out of classroom support, Management/Leadership do not always give enough time and justification for decisions.

      inspiring place to work, very challenging job, struggles with administration

      this is a great community, feels like a family, very inspiring work to do--the school is trying hard to achieve its mission

      Cons

      the admin is not always great--there are great people involved, but admin doesn't always include staff in decisions, most teachers are really new so the structures are in place to deal with new teachers rather than experienced teachers
