Pros
Friendly and helpful coworkers, wide range of game dev aspects to learn. Passable starting point into the industry. You can learn a lot before you go on to better companies to make actual good games. Half of the leads are very hard working and care a lot about their teams.
Cons
Management treats employees as expendable, does not care about the quality of games, just about fulfilling contracts as fast and cheap as possible. No passion for games and no respect for the extra-work some employees have to do to get stuff done in the ridiculously short deadlines. The other half of the leads are lazy and/or incompetent and sabotage team spirit even outside of their team.
