Pros

LimeLight truly invests in its people. There are ongoing opportunities for continuing education and professional growth, and strong performance is recognized and rewarded through bonuses and incentives. When you do your job well, it’s noticed. The leadership team genuinely cares about employees as people, not just output. Accountability is valued across the team, which creates a healthy working environment where expectations are clear and fair. Because it’s a small team, your voice matters. Leadership is open to suggestions and improvements, and feedback is taken seriously. When possible, team members step in to help balance workloads, which makes a big difference during busy periods. There’s also a strong emphasis on work-life balance, with flexibility through remote and hybrid work options. The environment is supportive, collaborative, and focused on long-term success for both employees and clients.

Cons

The work environment is fast-paced and agile, which may not be the right fit for someone who prefers a slower or highly rigid structure. Priorities can shift quickly, and being adaptable is important to succeed here.

Pros

Pros include a friendly and collaborative team that is always open to feedback. The presence of many junior staff members led to more time spent on projects and increased back-and-forth to get things right, but their eagerness to learn and dedication to improvement truly stand out. The clients are also fantastic—great people who are easy to work with and contribute to strong, positive partnerships. LimeLight’s selectivity in choosing clients is evident in the high quality of these relationships.

Cons

In my experience, the once positive and supportive culture of the agency has been deeply impacted by a new leadership figure, whose presence is rapidly undermining its foundation. This individual failed to provide constructive feedback or clearly communicate expectations, offering no mentorship or guidance on issues I was unaware of. Instead of addressing concerns directly with me, they would bypass me entirely, speaking to the owner and other leadership members behind my back. It quickly became apparent that this person did not support me, and it wasn’t long before I felt ostracized by the entire leadership team. When they ultimately decided I wasn’t a fit, they stopped communicating with me altogether. For about a month, I endured a series of gaslighting behaviors before being brought into a sudden, unplanned call to be let go—without any prior warning, actionable feedback, or clear reasoning. It was an incredibly disheartening experience. To make matters worse, this same individual had already let go of two other team members, labeling it a "layoff," yet making it clear their departures were due to his decisions. He continues to systematically dismantle the agency, one person at a time. Additionally, this leader imposed aggressive and unrealistic sales goals that they themselves could not meet, creating unnecessary pressure across the team. Meetings were often monopolized by overly long explanations of obvious concepts, wasting valuable time and energy. This combination of poor leadership, lack of communication, and unreasonable expectations has created a confusing and frustrating environment, making it increasingly difficult to thrive in what was once a seemingly supportive workplace.
