It is fantastic to work in a culture that values people, works diligently to thrive with a diverse and remote workforce. I am proud of Limelight's value for powerful women taking leading roles in the company. The leadership team is driven, committed and willing to take a risk, while also balancing their authenticity and honesty with consistent All Hands updates. Working with this company is a fantastic opportunity for growth, to do amazing things with amazing people.

Cons

The company is continuing to grow, to pivot, to morph and transform. Though 6 years old, there can still often be the startup feelings. Bring your big kid pants and a passion to work and deliver excellence. This is not a place if you are looking to coast along and get a paycheck.

Incomplete product; weak management, overcommitted to prospects and customers--they will hang themselves with that; it feels like a cult of personalities at times.

Hi Anonymous, thank you for posting your review. Though it’s hard to hear negative feedback, your comments will help me and Limelight improve, I am glad that you posted your concerns. I am certainly disappointed that we did not get the opportunity to discuss 1:1. Since you worked with us, you know that I have an "open door" policy and encourage folks to talk with me about anything; not just the good. Being that one of our values as a company is "Kaizen", continuous improvement, we take feedback seriously and will look for how we can get better. As you also know, scaling a startup at an early stage can be chaotic and require rapid change. Demands on the business, and engineering specifically, can add additional stress. Keeping up with product and customer requirements, competitors, and the market, generally, add to that. As for the incompleteness of our product, there is certainly no question; we have had some tremendous success competing against companies, who, on average have been building their product for about 20 years. In comparison, we have been focused on our target market for less than 3. Despite being a young company with a young product, we have had some tremendous wins. That said, I wish you all the best.
