I've worked as a government contactor for 30 years - been that invisible person who does great work but isn't recognized by the client as 'one of them' but also not feeling like part of a company. That is, until joining Lin Tech Global in 2016. I love working for this company. They do wonderful things that make employees feel a very appreciated part of a team. They offer generous training (encourage it even), recognition of work and life accomplishments - and do nice things like mail a delicious cookie for your birthday. We are encouraged to provide the best to our clients, and we're given access to specialists to provide expertise needed to excel. Also benefits are a LOT better than I had with large DC based contract companies.
LinTech was phenomenal to employees affected by the 2019 government shutdown. They were in constant contact with supportive emails, reminding us they were continuing insurance and other benefits, providing information on filing unemployment, and even sent us a gift card for groceries.
I didn't expect to feel loyalty to an employer. But seriously, this is the best company I've worked for .. and I find myself a very loyal employee.
