Here's my long awaited feedback. I hope you guys take this in a positive manner.
Pros
1. The people who are working under the management, All devs, QA, Operations and Marketing team, They all are nice and best. They will treat you like a family. 2. CFO and my manager were truly a blessing. 3. Food is a plus. 4. That's it, Other than that it's all cons.
Cons
1. Management generally isn't accommodating, except for the CFO, who goes out of his way to make you feel included. As for the rest of management, including HR, expect to be treated like an outsider. They can be charmingly rude at times. 2. They claim to support remote work, but that's just a nice story for the brochure. When my parents were sick, they blackmailed me to come to Hyderabad, threatening to find a new employee. I even lost a family member during my notice period and asked for 10 days of WFH. Not only was this denied, but pending leaves and comp offs magically disappeared from the final settlement. 3. The workweek is impressively extended from Monday to the next Monday, making weekend work the norm. They generously offer comp off, which you can't actually use if you decide to leave. How thoughtful! 4. During my notice period, I lost family members and asked for 10 days of WFH. This was, unsurprisingly, denied, and pending leaves and comp offs weren't considered. It's almost like a tradition. 5. HR is full of promises but barely scratches the surface in employee support. She's eager to deduct pay for lateness but dismisses extra hours worked with a delightful, "Why do you work extra? That's your fault." 6. Once you resign, you officially become their favorite enemy. They might cut cakes and give you a farewell, but just wait for the frosty reception that follows. It's like a plot twist in a bad movie. 7. The blame game is their top-selling activity. Management makes all the decisions, but when things go south, guess who's holding the bag? You, the employee, of course. Ask any employee, The way they blame them it totally takes their confidence away. 8. It feels like school; you'll even get a seat with a sticker bearing your name. And don't sit anywhere else, or the principal will get mad. 9. There is no one for any employee who will speak up to the management. Managers will try but at times it felt unsupportive.
