Pros

Living Group is run by an husband and wife team. At team level they have some talented employees. It is a great place to gain exposure across a range of projects with a good work life balance compared to most London agencies, however...

Cons

... you will need to navigate the childish behaviour of the owners who clearly have little respect for their staff. Living Group has historically gone through annual rounds of 'redundancy', so if you are looking for security this company will not be the right fit for you. Overall not the worst place I have worked, but equally not the best.

Dying Group

Pros

Good location and nice office.

Cons

There is no better way to describe senior management except than bullies. They have a lack of understanding about design and technology, in turn this makes them insecure and creates a HUGE blame culture. They are unable to support you and have no respect for how hard everyone works. They don't treat employees as adults, they don't trust who they hire and this creates an uncomfortable atmosphere. They push and intimidate whoever can't read their minds and in turn work can be shoddy and not it's best but that's their fault not the rest of the team. I would never trust my business in their hands and often warn others about them. Working at Living Group won't help you in your career as it's not a known agency and have no connections outside their small, shallow and superficial world. Hands down the worse place I've ever worked. I can't even imagine it could get much worse and I hope I never find out.

Avoid - toxic leadership team

Pros

They hire nice and smart people. Nice work culture outside of the office.

Cons

Shame they drive talent away or boot them out if they don’t act like ‘clones’ of the senior management team or ‘accept’ the master vs slave mentality that creates a toxic environment. Micromanagement at its finest!
