Despite the challenges, there are a few positive aspects worth noting. Some colleagues are hardworking and supportive.
Cons
Staff were not paid for the entire month of August. Lab staff were terminated with very short notice. Internal politics create a toxic work environment. Employees are treated unfairly. Finance department consistently fails to pay staff on time. Promises of investment are repeatedly made but never fulfilled. Rumors of questionable activities during the COVID-19 testing period: Incorrect UKAS accreditation for swabbing, not for actual testing. Ethical concerns about the company’s business practices. Overall, the workplace is unhealthy and unsustainable.
