Pros

Admittedly, the company is great to work for if your a casual and are looking for a short term job. It's only after time that the cons seem to seep down from the top and begin to invade your work life, like a virus. -Easy work -Good Products -Great customers

Cons

Company has no consideration for their staff. Very hard company to work for if you are someone who like to feel appreciated and treated fair. The way management deals with their staff isn't personalised and very fake. Retail is a hard place to work, I personally thrive in the environment and would see myself as a very hard working and high achieving employee, however, this company's very very very very very poor treatment of their staff is disappointing. DO NOT following through with incentives and promised 'benefits' for staff. UNSTABLE management.... there is such a high turnover rate that they are constantly moving managers around... cool, there goes my stability and consistency in the company... this has had very negative consequences with sales and performance in stores. It comes down to the company not having value in their employees.

Pros

The people (below upper management) are phenomenal, hard-working, driven, POSITIVE employees who want to succeed in their respective positions. Within each department there are beautiful, genuine people that made each day survivable.

Cons

The most bizarre company I have ever worked for. Intransigent upper management severely lack the knowledge and skill to be in their esteemed positions, yet prioritise the micromanagement of concepts they cannot grasp. During my tenure I witnessed inherent racism and ableism, comments made on staff members appearance, everyday belittling of staff (inc frequent yelling), leading to a hostile, insufferable culture. Delu-lu 'dream-keepers' and 'pace-makers' lead the way of creating an environment incompatible to their mission of 'inspiring women to live a life they love'. The only respite from the banality of working for an irrelevant brand was the 3pm Friday finishes (of which the 'privilege' later redacted). A truly esoteric experience I wish I had avoided by listening to the 'rumours' about the brand that are prominently circling throughout the industry.

Pros

The girls at store level are wonderful to work with

Cons

Head office is incompetent and just expects to succeed on the back end of their former prominence without ever actually having to work for it. They think staff and customers alike will do whatever they want simply because "we're Lorna Jane". They are naive, the expectations are too high and they blame store level staff for head office level issues.
