Very cliquey and hard to feel connected

Pros

Great benefits as far as an agency goes, week off at the holidays, paid health, summer hours and will pay part of cell phone.

Cons

Depending on department it can be very hard to feel connected and make friends. There is a group of “cool girls” who run everything and if they don’t like you you won’t fit in. Management does not invest in employees or try to train them at all. You will be overworked and expected to wear multiple hats will no additional support from team. Does not give raises or promotions.

Pros

You work with good people here. The CEO is very involved and knows you can't teach people "nice." They hire strong workers with solid work ethic and kind hearts that know how to get the job done. Working here, you will get a variety of experience if you step up and ask for the work. They value everyone's opinion and may sometimes ask a rookie to take the back seat in some major client meetings, but ultimately, they want everyone's input and respect your contributions when you show you know your stuff.

Cons

You may have to deal with some agency family "bickering," processes can be a little haphazard at times, and you may get asked to do some odd tasks, but that's just life at a small agency. You learn to find the fun in it. Everyone helps in many capacities, even with the agency structure in place.
