Revolving Door Sweatshop

Pros

It's a great place to get your foot in the door as an entry level employee with no experience. Since they pay next to nothing, they will hire anyone and you can gain a ton of experience. Also, they rarely fire. You can totally make $11 an hour indefinitely.

Cons

The pay is insanely low with raises being uncommon. People are under trained. This place is a revolving door with new employees constantly coming in and people constantly leaving. You can get shifted to a new attorney or new department with no warning because of the constant problems and shortages as people leave and are unhappy.

They care nothing about the employees

Pros

The founding partner will "order pizza every now and then"

Cons

This is a modern day sweat shop. They work you like dogs and take advantage of "newly graduated attorney's or newly graduated paralegals. They are all about money. Extremely unprofessional environment and they have a high turnover rate, because they don't know how to treat qualified professional individuals.

Pros

Plenty of potential to grow inside the firm. Open door policy is ALWAYS in action. If you have any questions or concerns, you can go to your supervisor, and have an open discussion regarding your topic. We are fortunate enough to have breakfast/lunch provided to us by both outside sources and the firm. The employees get involved in fundraisers the community outreach program does, and is willing to give feedback on improvement.

Cons

Employees don't utilize the open door policy as often as they should.
