      Average place, wheel needs more than a little greasing!

      Pros

      If you need experience this can be a stepping stone. But be warned thats all there is to it. The people you work with are nice. Some uppermangement people know and do their jobs well, and are very people oriented. But if you go above them, then they become process driven robots.

      Cons

      Top management ee people as commodities. (It was actually said a blurted out by a top management personnel) Process driven. Does not award talent. Pidgeon-hole you in your role, and doesnt see the employee as anything beyond that.

      Great strat up for a carrer, but I would focus on getting into a Pharma instead of a CRO

      Pros

      Good start-up place for a CRO company. I don't know about other, but MDS was well equip (intrusmentation wise) and gave people opportunity to learn not only the "how to" on the bench but also allow entry position worker to get expose to LC/MS intrumentation.

      Cons

      Global management are running every division of MDS inc like cost center. In a contract research organization, I believed that capitalization of untangible assets like talents is the fondation of success, which cannot be achieved by running it like a cost center. The financial objectives had to be achived no regard to client satisfaction or science solidness of the work provided.
