Pros

They hire quickly, and offer training to some.

Cons

They don’t offer training to everyone. They gaslight you. Good ol boys club beyond norms of union trade work. It’s not who you know it’s who you are willing to Blow. They claim to have advancement opportunities but in fact do not. I saw a lot of turn around.

Pros

The people are great and working for MGE gets your foot in the door to work for PG&E sometimes.

Cons

Management overworks their employees and denies overworking them. Upper management at this office does not support their employees but instead only think about pleasing the customer at employee expense. There is no work life balance as a coordinator for most months out of the year. There is no training program for any PM position and instead you have to rely on your peers who don’t have time to train you anyway because they are overworked. The coordinator position specifically has a high turnover rate due to the amount of stress you are put under and long hours you are forced to work to stay afloat.
