      You can work from home.

      Cons

      Micromanage. You are pushed to do detailed class reports outside of paid time. A lot of class cancellations without pay. You are expected to block off hours of your day whether or not you have classes (without pay).

      Pros

      Kind and flexible management. No salary deductions for missing classes. No nonsense that's present at many other ESL companies.

      Cons

      Pay is low ($15 USD for people with degrees and years of experience teaching ESL is ridiculous) with no opportunity for raises because it "wouldn't be fair to other teachers." No opportunities for career progression. Hours get rough, especially in the winter due to the time difference between America and Korea. No pay for mandatory feedback and monthly reports.
