Pros

I was able to be an advocate for vulnerable individuals, making a positive contribution to their life.

Cons

MS Queensland presents as person-centred but operates for profit. Policies are inconsistently enforced, and management tolerates staff misconduct, bullying, and resident neglect. Genuine advocacy for clients is rare and unsupported. I was made redundant after challenging these standards and maintaining ethical care.

A bit lost on direction

Pros

Great cause with some good people doing the work.

Cons

Lost it's customer orientation as it tried to over-diversify offerrings. Great staff have left and constant change in the upper leadership.

A real mixed bag

Pros

There are some really wonderful people who are committed to the cause. Great work flexibility with current WFH policies.

Cons

Internal processes are generally poor and very siloed. Some toxic senior leadership.
