Pros
Great roster of clients, mostly in tourism and oil/gas industries, which is good for your experience no matter your role. They try to foster a good culture with food and fun activities
Cons
Sadly everything you read about when it comes to corporate world applies here. "We're a family" has to be the most hated buzzword in corporate culture and for good reason, it usually means making a lot of sacrifices whether it's your workload, mental health, etc. MSI went through a lot the last few years, good and bad. But it doesn't feel like the leadership team has done everything they can to keep the team together and happy. From an interpersonal perspective, they have rewarded toxic behavior from employees and some of their management doesn't seem to have people skills which is ironic. From a marketing agency perspective, they are behind the curve when it comes to industry changes, keeping up with other agencies and overall operate very old-fashioned and traditional. Too busy with clients to make sure staff are consistently learning and training in their craft, which is again ironic if you want to do good work for them. They also don't have set processes in place for a lot of things and that makes everything disorganized and inconsistent. Doesn't help when they allow certain employees to be the exception so they can do things their way.
