Pros

Good co-workers. Benefits are better than average.

Cons

Extremely high attrition and turnover. 6 Presidents in less than 6 years. No career growth opportunities for most employees.

Pros

The people on the shop floor are great - knowledgeable, easy to work with, and have a great work ethic.

Cons

Management is very short-sighted, as if they're just working for the next few months to get their bonuses, but the long-term effects are dire for the company's future. There is no transparency about what's happening, and they seem to be uninterested in sharing anything with employees. The VP of HR literally sits in her office all day with the door closed and the President is extremely acerbic and negative; even when he has a chance to speak positive words due to great results, he won't. It's almost as if he thinks that any positivity will make people stop working so hard. Morale was very low when I left. Right now, employees are leaving in droves and they're having a hard time hiring, perhaps due to their terrible reputation in the SE WI area. Also, much of the work is moving to Mexico right now, despite tarriffs, largely due again to cost cutting that will gain executive bonuses in the short term.

Few pros, many cons

Pros

Pay is generally equal to experience and position, benefits are pretty good, products are admirable.

Cons

Leadership turnover every year to 18 months, "shake ups" leaving the employees without clear direction, communication is slow if at all, understaffed departments causing additional duties, long hours, and burnout.
