Pros
Exposure to the darker side of the legal career, all those things you hear about the older generation of legal practitioners, the 'pretentious elitism', the unreasonable requests to name a few, are real
Cons
Long hours spent at the office and a few of it a day could be spent entertaining the partner's guests; you are paid minimum but you are expect to give 24/7; constantly asked to take care of personal tasks that have nothing to do with law
