Pathetic Experience as an Executive Assistant
Pros
I don't really have any to list out
Cons
Working as an executive assistant for the managing director has been an incredibly disappointing experience. From day one, I have been overworked and underappreciated. Here are the major issues I faced: Unreasonable Workload: The amount of work expected is beyond any reasonable standard. The company demands constant overtime, leaving no room for a personal life. There is no respect for work-life balance, and the stress is relentless. Inadequate Compensation: The pay scale is completely abnormal. Despite the excessive workload, the salary does not reflect the effort put in. To make matters worse, the company deducts additional amounts from the pay without clear explanations and fails to settle these deductions by the end of the year. Lack of Transparency: There is a severe lack of transparency regarding salary and deductions. The management provides vague and often contradictory explanations, leaving employees confused and demoralized. Poor Work Environment: The work environment is highly toxic. The pressure to perform is immense, and there is no appreciation or recognition for the hard work. This creates a demotivating and stressful atmosphere. No Career Growth: Despite the hard work and dedication, there are no opportunities for career advancement. The role is monotonous, with no scope for learning or professional development. In conclusion, my experience as an executive assistant in this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. The combination of an overwhelming workload, unfair compensation, lack of transparency, and poor work environment makes it a highly undesirable place to work. I would not recommend this position to anyone.
