      They tend to train people from the bottom up and promote from within.

      Cons

      Management is a joke. Lots of favoritism and a lack of communication. If something is happening within your team, you often find out from other employees before anyone in a supervisory position informs you of changes. The office caters to younger, more dispensable employees because they do not like paying the standard rate for professionals in similar positions. Their reasoning for sub-par pay in some teams is because they claim to be a "lifestyle firm" with a work-life balance, which isn't the case. There are many problems in the firm, and the head attorneys do not care to address them.

      Pros

      You have a job! It is pretty laid back. You have autonomy after being given assignments. Fast paced with a lot of work so the days fly by!

      Cons

      Management has no idea what’s really going on in the offices and employees left in the dark bout everything. Someone quit? You’ll find out the day they leave. With all management the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. TOTAL favoritism. After you’ve been there for a while you turn into “just another worker” and get abused. NOT a lifestyle firm unless you are a favorite. 10 minutes late bc you have kids and it’s an issue. Sick kid - you better get a dr note. Vacation? Don’t even ask if you aren’t a favorite! You get yelled at and management never takes responsibility for their mistakes. Cover for your boss and zero thanks! No raises or bonuses of any kind and absolutely ZERO room for any kind of career growth - unless you are a favorite…..anyone seeing a theme here? But favorites are always going out of favor eventually! Unless you are a SUPER favorite and that’s a whole nother review altogether!

      Very disorganized and poorly managed. The management level has little to no knowledge of what's actually going on in the office.
