This knowledge gap led to unclear priorities, poor time estimates, and unreliable scheduling.
The task flow was chaotic: you receive a task with little to no context, deliver it, and then get stuck in a loop of ongoing revisions driven by inconsistent feedback from leads and clients. This results in wasted time and rework.
On the compensation side, salaries are outdated and far below the industry average for 2025. A silent layoff was also carried out, with many skilled professionals dismissed without proper communication. The company clearly favors freelancers and lower wage countries to reduce costs and avoid severance obligations.
Direction wise, things are equally unclear. The studio primarily works on NFT based games in Unity, but when a larger project in Unity or Unreal Engine comes in, they often lack the necessary internal talent, leading to rushed hires only to let those people go when the project ends or falls through.
