The worst job I've ever had

Free desserts, that's about it.

Cons

EVERYTHING ELSE, I could write an entire novel as to why this was the worst job experience of my life. But, I will spare you the gory details, and advise you to rethink your potential employment with the company.

I LEARNED TO PIPE AND HANDFROST CUPCAKES and as someone who loves to bake this is a skill I will carry for the rest of my life so thank you Magnolia.

Cons

I want to make it clear that I think Magnolia can be a great place to work. However, I only worked there for one official day because the guys that worked in the basement baking/prepping made me feel uncomfortable. I felt stared at and talked about behind my back and I couldn't imagine working somewhere I couldn't even feel comfortable. The thought of going back and being scrutinized was not an option for me.

Pros

It’s fun to sell cupcakes and desserts. Employees are nice and some managers are helpful, other managers stay in the office the whole shift.

Cons

It is a very disorganized company. Human Resources doesn’t take issues seriously. There are GMs sleeping with cake icers, and giving them everything they want, overtime, reduce their work and make counter staff do it. GMs also mistreating anyone who would not get along with cake icer. The favoritism is embarrassing.
