      Pros

      Malachite is a great place to work at, with great people. The work you do is meaningful and the wider company makes you proud to be a part of their journey. I miss working at Malachite and miss the people, overall I would highly recommend.

      Cons

      There is limited room for growth within the company but my experience was invaluable and has helped me on my overall career path.

      Pros

      Sr Management really cares about employees and company culture and invests in people. Exciting global travel and on-the-ground/in the field learning opportunities. A dynamic mix of non-profit management, event planning and marketing in the health sciences field. Opportunities for growth within MMI or skills that transfer to multiple career paths. Being part of the STEMCELL group of companies also means there is the closeness of working for a smaller group with the benefits of being part of the largest science company in Canada.

      Cons

      An Executive Director who is no longer at the company was difficult to work for.

      Pros

      Pros - Great clients, cool travel locations for events, time in lieu, occasional social events, good office location, great benefits (RRSP matching, MSP coverage, etc.)

      Cons

      Cons - stagnate management, high turnover, poor staff on-boarding, reductions in staff, , very heavy at the top and understaffed in admin/coordinator roles, isolated CEO, emotional/teary employees, and they also have many contradicting ways of doing things (two teams will be doing the same thing but do it completely different).
