Poor leadership; unethical business practices

Pros

They have great graphic artists. They have one great search campaign manger, and the content curator is a top notch writer. I wish the best for them...

Cons

First things first: They were writing "testimonials" as radio creative. Let that sink in... Testimonials are suppose to be from a current or former client that is raving about the business, these people were creatively writing them as a commercial. Next, their proprietary software is ANYTHING but proprietary. They utilize a well known company for their television analyzation process. Which is fine to do, but you are unable to buy TV the correct, legitimate, ethically sound way via ROI buying when first coming into a market. They manipulate stations into doing what is like a splatter house of frequency with no research, no data, no relationship building, just "do this for me now, and we will see how your station performs in 60 -90 days." As an employee, I would ask questions, only be met with vague answers. Asked for research and data sets, was said "yes," but then never actually provided with the tools I needed to do my best work. I was told during the interview process that it was a welcoming place that will be a great place to grow with. One cannot grow if they are not provided with leadership and genuine interest in what is needed to succeed. I wish there was a glassdoor review prior to working at Mammoth, it would have saved me from stalling out my career on false promises and disorganized leadership. This company is like a flash in a pan, burns hot, quick and will soon fizzle out if they continue operating in this unethical manner. Eventually, their clients will catch on that they are all talk with no follow through.

Pros

They appreciate the importance of having a great work / life balance ... Data and industry best practices guide decisions, not individual opinions ... Incredibly gifted and personable management team ... Respond well to clients, maintaining a great relationship and line of communication that ensures awareness and happiness ... Great office location, environment and team culture.

Cons

Truly can't think of even a single con at this point. 401k package to be implemented soon.

Small Team With Big Ideas and a Promising Future

Pros

Since I’ve started here at Mammoth it has been nothing but fantastic. It's by far the best place I have ever work; it’s a place that I look forward to going to every day. The team, the atmosphere, and our projects we work on are always interesting and never boring. Yes, we are small but we all have big ideas and we are constantly working together to improve ourselves and each other. We never stop striving for new and innovative ways of thinking, encouraging each other/ pushing one another to create new designs and ideas for our clients; this keeps the mood of the workplace fun and exciting. Each member of the team is responsible for their own workload which makes us our own master in our own right. But that doesn’t mean we are never helping another; we are constantly checking in on one another to hit client deadlines, along with plenty of team pow-wows. With this rapid pace of workload, we are never bored with what we are doing here. There is always something new to work on, which is fantastic, means my skills can stretch far and wide on the creative end. One major benefit of the Mammoth family is our flexibility, working from home when needed and our PTO. Our team is always having fun with their work, making it, definitely, a ‘work hard play even hard’ atmosphere where there is a plethora of opportunity to learn and grow.

Cons

With any major rapid pace workplace, there will be a few drawbacks, one major one is you need to fit well with the rest of the team and do your part, aka, be master of your skills. If you are unable to fulfill your needs/requirements not only you will suffer but so will the team, and in this job market, there is no time for that. With any chain, it is only as strong as its weakest link. With that being said it's not an issue if you know how to efficiently use your abilities to the fullest extent. As well as being able to stay calm in a fast pace work environment, keeping the errors next to none.
