    No Opinion of CEO

I worked at ManpowerGroup full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

opportunity to work on a varied workload, not many specialised roles so able to gain experience doing many roles at once.

    Cons

Not very consistent, reactive rather than proactive, not much value for support staff, good sales people are treated well

    Advice to Management

recognise the value of support staff

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at ManpowerGroup full-time for more than a year

    Pros

office location is really the only one I can think of

    Cons

    - internal politics - promotions based on people you know, not so much on merit - midlevel management has been there for years and some are suddenly managing big teams and they have no clue or qualifications to be in these senior roles. - chaotic work environment - you hear about redundancies all the time - their business model is not up to date - heavy micro-management - salary and comms for sales is not competitive...

I worked at ManpowerGroup full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great people that share a culture of collaboration and innovation. Being global it is great to access resources from colleagues around the world, sometimes I'm just excited about what can be done

    Cons

Sometimes to focused on short term bottom line, you get the impression it is able meeting a quarterly target rather than any long term strategic objective, when this occurs it really feels like your hard work has been for nothing

    Advice to Management

Think long term, be courageous, yes you have to deliver to shareholders, however being an industry leading innovative workforce solutions company will only occur if some risks are taken,

I have been working at ManpowerGroup full-time for more than a year

    Pros

ManpowerGroup as a company prides itself on ethics and doing the right thing. There is no pressure from management if you do your job. There isn’t much incentive wise to encourage staff to staff but you do get 5 weeks annual leave per year.

    Cons

The cons at the moment is the global market, you can’t help but notice that the work isn’t coming in, which also means there is no room to develop a long term career at ManpowerGroup.

    Cons

Nothing so far. I do believe that Manpower are very responsive to feedback and ideas so if there are any concerns in the business then there is a channel to discuss these.
