Pros

Large selection of fashion eye wear. Most are well known brand names at reasonable prices. Company offers benefits , draw against commission..health and dental and eye care plans

Cons

Management is under extreme pressure from European private capital investors to make a go of the buyout ofViva International.While Marcolin was competent enough in selling luxury eye wear in the US market....it had no idea at all how to blend in the more day in day out brands from Viva. The result has been a massive defection of 90 percent of the company's best producers.....you can guess the rest

Absolutely nothing..oh wait! They just started using SAP....there is a God.

Cons

The Accounting process is full of redundancies and very inefficient. Working at Marcolin is like stepping into a time machine and turning the knob to the 1970's. 12 hours work day even during non month end close days, should be an indicative that something is seriously wrong...no matter how many dinners you buy for your employees. Taking the position on this company was the worst decision I have ever made. Therefore for those looking for a job in the Accounting dept at Marcolin USA, you have been warned....RUN AWAY! Plenty of jobs out there!

The health insurance is decent.

Cons

The company culture is a dumpster fire. HR is incompetent and unwilling to actually make a difference. They change policies and revoke already approved pto. There is a reason recruiters will tell you to stay away from this place. Listen!!
