Pros

There are some cool, friendly and very talented people working here. It is fast-paced environment and there is never a dull moment where you are left wondering what you need to work on next.

Cons

ZERO creative collaboration or guidance and no clear explanation of expectations. Creative leadership and critiques are hostile and demoralizing. Project management and process documentation are non-existent.

Pros

Nice office in a high rise tower. Hired quickly. Digitally focused agency. Good salary and benefits, compared to other agencies.

Cons

Strict and timed working hours. Old technology. No open-door policy. Rude management. Employees treated like children. Constant pushing of blame to other people. No teaching or mentorship for new employees. Book of "values" does not match office environment. Mostly big pharmaceutical work or unpaid work for friends of the company. Fires employees frequently when business is slow.

Pros

Co-workers are intelligent, talented, hard-working Nice office with free snacks and coffee Despite the bad environment, I was able to do new tasks and learn new things Excellent clients 1 (programming/software) of the 3 partners is fair, professional, nice to work with Interesting and diverse projects

Cons

The founder/managing partner/CEO screams at people on a regular basis; Not yell or get angry but screams in out of control, irrational way; 1st time I saw this happen I was shocked Same person also favors the employees that have worked there longer, even going as far as saying hi to them and ignoring the "newer" employees Same person plays games with employees WFH is never allowed except for snow days and you will be checked on to make sure you're at your computer and working Sometimes workloads are not realistic Different rules for different people: One employee was allowed to relocate several states away and WFH but another wasn't allowed to WFH after relocating South Jersey where at least it was easier for them to come into office occasionally If you are a woman working there, there's a clique of longer-term women who can be very difficult No understanding by upper management about learning curves, different skill sets, proper time for new employees to come up to speed There is nothing done to bring in new business or new clients even when existing clients are giving less and less work going back years; keep relying on long-term existing clients in a desperate hope that they'll give more business Some of the employees are very judgemental and barely give co-workers a chance There's a status/work assignment meeting every day; I wasn't involved with it but saw that it was time-consuming and counterproductive for those who had to attend
