Pros

Health Benefits are available once you qualify. Employee Discounts.

Cons

* No pay raise. * Overpriced merchandise * Hard to make commission * Demanding job and hours * Negative work environment * High turnover rate The store lacks enough traffic to make commission and daily sale goals a lot, Management takes this out on the employees. They expect you to ask personal questions to customers rather than focusing solely on helping customers with products. The work environment is very stressful when it does not need to be. Higher ups harass you constantly over insignificant things (and ridiculous things such as pronunciation, chipped nail, not wearing makeup, etc). This environment is unbearable and unhealthy both physically and mentally (cigarette smoke due to smokers from the casino and harassment from management). Higher ups use their positions to constantly act intrusive and disrespectful. I would never refer anyone here - RUN!

Pros

As a manager, if you're good at blindly following the herd and turning your cheek to injustice, this company will strip you of your independent thinking but pay you a living wage. It's only a good temporary stepping stone for CSAs and Supervisors. Be warned but decide for yourself. You'll see the craziness during your interview process.

Cons

Abusive and negative working environment, allot of turn over, they under pay you and dangle promotions like a carrot that's not even appealing to work toward, no freedom to express yourself if something is wrong, you'll feel under valued and disposable.

Pros

A lot of great people work at the Head Office, environment is very laid back, casual setting. Also the hours are pretty standard 8 hour day.

Cons

Where to begin, I will only speak to what I know and that the management I had was absolutely the worse. Not that I didn't make any mistakes while performing my job, I did...I was new to the retail world. My management decided to in a passive aggressive way threaten my job after 2 weeks of employment. They claim "attention to detail" as their worry, yet will not show specific examples. They said my attitude sucked, well maybe if you got to know your team member you would known that those comments or non verbal expressions were being miscommunicated. Instead we are going to threaten your job after 2 weeks. Needless to say when I brought my concerns up to management about how I felt and bringing solutions to the table about the communication piece, I was terminated the next day. I was never formally trained on my job, no documented administrative actions, never late...but yet I was not worth keeping.
