Pros

None, even being close to a medium-sized city doesn’t count since you will have no time to nothing.

Cons

This whole thing is essentially designed to take advantage of fresh-graduate internists who in need for J1 waiver. At the beginning sweet talk.. later, Very hostile, abusive work environment. Isolation of employees is the key feature that forms this institute. It is almost forbidden to speak to another co-worker privately. Sooner or later, all these factors can lead to a fragile mental state and emotional suffering. No respect from Managment. No sense of any bonus. Minimal compensation for the amount of work. The essence of the contract is enslaving. Have MERCY on Yourself.

Excess workload……. we ask that you complete the job duties that are clearly outlined in the signed contract. Maryland Medical First P.A. gives providers a very flexible work schedule with full Nurse Practitioner support. Time management is key to balance both work and personal life. We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy for the 4 years you worked here as a J1 provider which requires only a 3 year commitment

Pros

Literally none, maybe the fact you get to live in the Baltimore area of that.

Cons

No work life balance, sleepless nights, minimal salary, the owner has no regard for the sanity of his employees, big risk to your medical license. Practice is built on modern day slavery for the average internist grinding away to make money for the practice, no sense of bonuses, no appreciate, hostile behavior. Place should be shut down.
